Game Skins

Blesbok

Blesbok pelts are similarly coloured to Springbok but slightly bigger, and are available in varying shades of grey to tan.  Sold per skin.

Kudu – Oxblood

Kudu leather is priced per metre and sold in hides of approx. 2-3 sqmtr.

Kudu has a very soft glove-leather feel and larger grain than bovine leather.  Natural markings are evident and holes occasionally present.

Kudu Leather – Cognac

Kudu leather is priced per metre and sold in hides of approx. 2-3 sqmtr.

Oryx

Oryx, hair-on hides, are approx 1.8 to 2.8 sqm, in size and colours fall within the grey sprectrum.  Available on order.

Ostrich Leather

Ostrich leather is distinctive for it’s pattern of vacant quill follicles which range across the skin in various densities.  Tanning is a very specialised and expensive production process making it a costly leather, but oh so beautiful!

Springbok

Springbok culling is strictly regulated and our skins are sourced from reputable suppliers. The are available in a variety of bright hues, as well as in their natural state.

Zebra

Burchell zebra pelts are South African and characterised by their stripes which reach fully around the belly.

Hartman pelts feature a slight shadow on each stripe.  Both are CITIES approved.
