Nguni & Sheep

Napa leather is a leather, recognisable for its very soft and supple feel.  It’s usually corrected grain and dyed.

Nguni is a breed of cattle endemic to South Africa, and their distinctive patterns are very popular in home décor.  Hides can be loosely grouped as predominantly brown, predominantly black, or an unusual tri-colour.  Markings are primarily splotched or speckled.

Sheepskin is the hide of a sheep tanned with the fleece intact.  It has excellent insulating properties and it is also resistant to flame and static electricity. Sheepskin is a natural insulator.  Available in black and white pelts.
